László Dura, the director of Dura Studio, was one of the founders of the
Trade Union of Scientific Workers in the summer of 1988, before the
Hungarian regime transformation. He was also the editor-in-chief of the
union's newspaper. In 1990 he established Dura Studio, which dealt with the
editing and publishing of both newpapers and Internet pages, book
publishing, and general Internet content services.
The organization structure of the company operates in a multimedia manner.
In practical terms, this means that permanent teams are assembled for the
establishment and editing of given papers, publications, and websites. An
important aspect of these teams is their high level of local and relevant
knowledge. These independent working groups are able to maintain a unique
approach and style for their projects. The studio's staff provides the
necessary technical background to support the work of the teams.
